Workshops
Many ask, “What’s the difference between a seminar and a workshop?”
Well, in my mind, the difference is all in the amount of time spent training. Some groups have a limited amount of time to train – usually one to two hours. These training sessions I refer to as “Workshops.” Other groups can train two, three, four and even eight hours in one day. I call these “Seminars.”
In the above photo, I am teaching a “workshop” to a dedicated group of security personnel in Southern Ireland. On that particular night, they had asked me to go over a series of restraints they could use that were harmless – for both the patron and the bouncer. I showed them a series of restraints they could play with and personalize.
It was a fun a memorable night!
